Salem Emergency Management will be giving away a 5 Gal. 4 person 72 Hour
Disaster Supply Kit at the Marion County Fair, stop by the
DOEM/CERT Booth under the grandstand during the fair and register for the kit.
$190.00 Value Kit will be given away the last night of the fair August
7, 8:00
P.M. do not have to be present to win. EMERGENCY SERVICE PERSONS
NOT ELIGIBLE, MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

As Terry celebrates
30 Yrs as Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Salem, we look back to his first
Emergency Operations, a mere 4 months after being appointed coordinator.
The City of Salem
experienced a water shortage September-November of 1980.
